Where your console goes depends on how clean you want the setup and how much you care about easy access (for swapping discs or pressing the power button manually).
The cleanest possible look — the console is completely hidden, all cables are short, nothing visible. Best for digital-only consoles where you don't need physical disc access. PS5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series S, and Switch (often docked) work great here.
Visible but elevated and out of the way. The console is mounted on the wall just below the TV, with short cable runs that we can also hide inside the wall for a fully clean look. Easy disc access. The most balanced choice between aesthetics and convenience.
For a symmetric look with the TV in the center, or when you have multiple consoles to mount in a row. Easy access, very visible. Common for gamers who want their setup to be a centerpiece.
A PS5 takes up about 15 inches of width and a lot of depth. Mounted on the wall, that's space you get back for books, decor, or just an emptier room.
No console sitting on a shelf, no power brick visible, no controller cables snaking everywhere. The TV looks like the only thing on the wall.
When the console is right behind or beside the TV, the HDMI is short and almost invisible. Power can be hidden in the same cord concealment as the TV.
Consoles stuck in a closed media cabinet often overheat. Mounted on an open wall, your PS5 or Xbox has all the airflow it needs and runs cooler.
If you have small kids, mounting the console on the wall keeps it out of reach for sticky-finger inspections and accidental cable pulls.
No console on a shelf means no dust building up underneath it. The wall mount keeps the console in clean air with nothing collecting around it.
A PS5 bracket won't fit an Xbox Series X. A Series X bracket won't fit a Switch dock. The brackets are model-specific, designed around the exact shape and ventilation needs of the console — which is part of what makes the install safe long-term.
This service isn't requested as often as TV mounting, so we don't carry console brackets on every truck. Instead, we order the right bracket for your specific console after you book. Tell us what you have and how you want it positioned, and we'll get the right hardware on hand for your install.

The opposite, actually. Console brackets are designed with the device's ventilation in mind — they leave clearance around the intake and exhaust ports so air flows freely. Most overheating happens when consoles are stuck inside closed cabinets with no airflow. Wall-mounted is usually better cooling than shelf-bound.
Yes — brackets position the console so the disc slot is accessible. If you're mounting in Position 1 (directly behind the TV), the disc access becomes a little harder, so we usually recommend that position mostly for digital-only consoles (PS5 Digital, Xbox Series S). For disc consoles, Positions 2 or 3 give you easy swap access.

Instead, we order the right bracket for your specific console and configuration after you book. If you've already bought one, bring it — we'll install it. Several options depending on the setup. Easiest: when the console is right next to or behind the TV, the HDMI is short and mostly invisible. Cleaner: route the console's power and HDMI through the same in-wall cable run as the TV. Or use a white plastic cord concealer for surface-mount hiding. See our cord concealment service for details.
Usually 20–40 minutes — a console mount is a small, focused job. If we're also mounting the TV and doing cord concealment as part of a bundle, we factor that into the total visit time.
Yes — many gamers have multiple consoles (PS5 + Xbox + Switch). We can mount all of them in a row beside the TV for a multi-console wall setup. Each one needs its own bracket so cost scales with the number of consoles, but it looks incredible when done well.
